As the only UK medical assistance company to operate its own air ambulance fleet, Cega offer rapid and direct response 24 hours a day, every day to medical emergencies.

The reach of its fleet of pressurised Beech King Air Turbo prop twins extends throughout Europe, Scandinavia, North Africa and also reaching the islands of the Canaries and the Mediterranean this covers the majority of Britons travelling overseas.

The Cega fleets are accorded priority at major airports and en route, also able to utilise small airfields unavailable to larger aircraft, they thereby ensure shortest possible connecting journeys.

The dedicated air ambulances are equipped for intensive care with highly experienced medical crew on board. Cabin pressurisation ensures maximum comfort for patients suffering breathing difficulties or cardiac distress and an incubator for neonatal care is also available.

The powered loading systems and appropriate medical equipment accommodate the care a seriously ill patient. The King Air 200 aircraft also offers the capacity for relatives to travel with the patient, in air-conditioned comfort.

Aviation crew familiar with a wide range of destinations communicate with an expert multilingual ground team to enable flight plans to be arranged to suit the best outcome for the patient.

With access to the widest possible online database of medical, aviation and surface transport contacts worldwide, a comprehensive inventory of drugs and medical equipment are also available at Cega's own medical store at Bournemouth Airport.
